Overview

Media provides critical visual and contextual information about your subsea assets. Within Enaimco, you can view, upload, and manage images, videos, and supporting documents directly from the asset or anomaly they relate to. This ensures your team has complete visibility into field conditions, inspections, and operations.

Viewing Media

You can view media in two ways:

  1. From an Asset:

    • Open the Asset page.

    • Select the Photos, Videos, or Documents tab to browse related media for that asset.

    • Click any file to preview it directly in the viewer.

  2. From an Anomaly or Event:

    • Media linked to an anomaly or inspection is shown in its media tabs.

    • Use these links to understand the issue in full operational context.

  3. Through Media Search

    • Go to Media Page.

    • Search files using the filters available, including name, coordinates, and video transcripts.

Uploading Media

Add new media directly from the File Upload page or the media tabs for an asset or anomaly:

  1. Click Upload and choose one or more files.

  2. Enter a clear title and description to make your uploads searchable.

  3. Link the media to the correct asset or sub-asset to ensure it appears in context.

Supported formats include .jpg, .png, .mp4, .mov, .doc and .pdf.

Managing Media

You can organize and maintain your media library with the following tools:

  • Rename or Edit Details: Keep titles and descriptions consistent for easier search and retrieval.

  • Upload File Revisions: Updated images or documents will all appear on related assets and anomalies, providing visibility to revision histories.

  • Link Across Modules: Media is automatically linked to the asset or anomaly it is uploaded to; however, you can also link existing media to any asset or anomaly in the field.

Best Practices

  • Upload media as soon as it’s available to maintain real-time visibility.

  • Use descriptive file names and captions (e.g., XT-03_Valve_Leak_ROV_2025-10-12.mp4).

  • Confirm that media is correctly linked to assets before finalizing uploads.

  • Upload media once and tag it to assets and anomalies, rather than uploading multiple copies of the same file.
