Overview

Your asset hierarchy is the foundation of your digital field. It organizes all assets — from fields and templates down to components and valves — into a structured, easy-to-navigate tree view. This allows you to explore your subsea field intuitively and access the information you need in context.

Finding Assets

Use the Asset Hierarchy panel to move through the field structure.

  1. Expand and Collapse — Click the arrows beside any parent asset to view or hide its child assets.

  2. Search — Use the search bar at the top to quickly locate a specific asset by name or ID.

  3. Breadcrumbs — Once you select an asset, the breadcrumb trail shows your current position in the hierarchy, helping you stay oriented as you explore.

Tip: You can search partial names or keywords — results appear dynamically as you type.

Viewing Asset Details

Selecting any asset opens its Asset Overview, where you can view:

  • Metadata such as name, type, ID, and status

  • Associated media like drawings, photos, and ROV videos

  • Related records including anomalies, inspections, and notes

All connected data is displayed in one place, providing a complete operational picture of each asset.

Contextual Actions

Depending on your permissions and active modules, you can:

  • Create anomalies, notes, or warnings directly from an asset

  • Upload or link media files

  • View characteristic details and component statuses

These tools keep asset-related data organized and accessible to your entire team.
