Step 1 - Open the Execution Workspace

  1. Open the relevant Inspection Campaign.

  2. Select the Execution tab (underneath Overview).

The Execution tab displays:

  • All campaign assets (grouped by system or structure)

  • Task progress (Completed, Scheduled, Remaining)

  • Overall campaign progress at the top of the page

To begin:

  1. Select a structure or component.

This opens the Activity Execution Page, where you can:

  • View inspection tasks

  • Review existing anomalies

  • Access component-specific tasks and anomalies (via dropdown)

Step 2 - Execute Inspection Tasks

Completing Tasks

  1. Read the full task instruction before starting.

  2. Perform the inspection activity.

  3. Select the checkbox to mark the task Complete.

Adding Notes to Tasks

  1. Select the Ellipsis icon (β‹―) next to the task.

  2. Choose Add Note.

  3. Multiple notes will appear as a bullet list.

Unable to Complete a Task

  1. Select the Ellipsis icon next to the task.

  2. Select Cannot Complete.

  3. Add a note explaining the reason.

Task Timestamps

When a task is marked as Completed or Cannot Complete, an automatic timestamp is generated showing the exact date and time. Anomaly revisions also generate timestamps.

Best Practice: Mark tasks complete immediately after finishing them to ensure accurate timestamps.

Accessing Asset Information

Each structure and component includes a Link icon.

To access additional asset details:

  1. Click the link icon next to the asset name.

  2. A new tab will open displaying the Asset Page.

  3. Use the Services Panel to view:

    • Documents

    • Anomalies

    • Photos

    • Videos

    • Asset Notes

Execution Notifications

During inspection execution, pop-up notifications will appear for key actions, including:

  • All completed tasks

  • Anomaly created

  • Anomaly revised

  • Image captured

  • Clip recorded

These notifications confirm that actions have been successfully recorded.

Managing Anomalies During Inspection

Anomalies are identified by a red exclamation point icon next to a structure or component.

Inspectors can:

  • Create a new anomaly (on structure or component level)

  • Revise an existing anomaly

Important: An inspection cannot be marked as complete until all open anomalies have been revised.

Step 3 - Create a New Anomaly

Before creating a new anomaly:

  • Confirm the issue is not already documented in the application.

  • If related to a component, check both the component and structure anomalies.

To Create a new anomaly:

  1. Ensure you are on the correct structure or component.

  2. Select Create Anomaly.

  3. Complete the required fields:

    • Anomaly Title

    • Anomaly Code

    • Criticality

    • Anomaly Source (default: Inspection)

    • Discovery Date

    • Descriptive Summary

Recommended fields:

  • Dive Number

  • Easting / Northing

  • Kilometer Point (capture when possible)

  • Owner

  • Media (clips or images)

Once created, the anomaly will appear with status set to Created.

Step 4 - Revise an Existing Anomaly

All open anomalies must be revised during the campaign where applicable.

To Revise an Anomaly:

  1. Locate the anomaly under the structure or component.

  2. Click the expand icon under the Info column.

  3. Select + Add Revision

  4. Complete the required fields:

    • Criticality

    • Anomaly Source (Default = Inspection)

    • Revision Date

    • Descriptive Summary

Optional:

  • Dive Number

  • Media (clips or images)

Reminder:

  • A structure or component is not considered completed until all associated anomalies have been updated.

  • Revised anomalies will display status Revised.

For information on using the Anomaly Management Module - please see the related guide.

When an anomaly is created or revised through inspection, it appears under Review Request.

  2. Select Anomalies from the Resources section.

  3. View all anomalies associated with the asset, including:

    • New (Draft)

    • Existing

    • Closed

Step 5 - Complete the Inspection

Once all tasks for all structures and components within scope are completed, including the revision of all existing anomalies:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Inspection Execution page, and select Complete.
