When to Use the Excel-Based Process

Use the Excel-based process when:

  • Network access to the Enaimco platform is unavailable

  • Offshore or field connectivity is interrupted

  • Inspection work must continue without delay

Note: All required inspection materials and supporting documents are included in the offline folder.

Step 1 β€” Locate the Required Asset

  1. Open the Inspection Campaign spreadsheet.

  2. Each asset type is organized into separate tabs.

  3. Locate the required asset by:

    • Manually navigating through tabs, or

    • Using Ctrl + F to search by asset name.

Tip: The offline folder contains all supporting documents required for inspection activities.

Step 2 β€” Complete Activity Tasks

For tasks where Type = GVI, CVI, AW, BUR, COAT, etc.:

  1. Follow the inspection instructions provided.

  2. After completing the task:

    • βœ… Mark the checkbox to indicate completion.

    • πŸ“ (Optional) Add notes in the Inspectors – Notes column if required.

Step 3 β€” Revise Active Anomalies

When a task has Type = β€œAnomaly Revision”, an existing anomaly must be updated.

Locate the anomaly

  1. Find the Anomaly Identification Code in the anomalyIdentificationCode column.

  2. Open the Anomaly Register spreadsheet.

  3. Use Ctrl + F to search for the anomaly code.

Update the anomaly

Once located, complete the following fields:

  • Revision Date

  • Revision Time

  • Revision Summary

If available, also include:

  • Easting (optional)

  • Northing (optional)

  • Kilometer Point (optional)

βœ… The anomaly revision is now complete.

Step 4 β€” Create a New Anomaly

  1. Open the New Anomalies spreadsheet.

  2. The first row (highlighted in red) provides an example entry.

  3. Complete the following fields for each new anomaly:

Required fields:

  • Main Structure

  • Component

  • Title

  • Anomaly Code

  • Criticality

  • Discovery Date

  • Summary

Optional but encouraged:

  • Easting

  • Northing

  • Kilometer Point

βœ… Once entered, the new anomaly has been successfully created.

Step 5 β€” Continue Inspection Activities

Repeat the process until all inspection items are completed:

  • Complete inspection tasks

  • Revise existing anomalies

  • Create new anomalies as required

Best Practices

  • Save Excel files frequently while working offline to prevent data loss.

  • Capture location data whenever possible to improve downstream analysis.
