To make your P&IDs interactive, assets must first be tagged and assigned a type.
Open your P&ID
Navigate to the Interative P&ID module from the left-hand toolbar.Enable Tagging Mode
Click the tag icon to activate Tag an Asset mode.Select the symbol
Draw a bounding box around the component you want to tag.Assign the Type
Choose from predefined types: Valve, Well, Manifold, SDU, or Sensor.Link to the hierarchy
Once a type has been selected, a filtered list of assets is available. Once an asset is selected, the P&ID will automatically associate that symbol with its corresponding asset in the database.
Note: Tagged items are stored and synced across all users—making P&ID navigation consistent across your team.
