Closing out an anomaly

Learn how to close out an anomaly

Written by John Ennis

When an anomaly has been addressed and you’re ready to close it in Enaimco, you’ll do so by creating a new anomaly revision and requesting closeout.

Steps to Close Out an Anomaly

  1. Open the Anomaly Record

    • Navigate to the relevant asset or component.

    • Locate and select the anomaly you wish to close.

  2. Create a New Revision

    • Click + Revision to start a new version of the anomaly record.

    • Add any final inspection results, corrective action notes, or supporting documentation.

  3. Request Closeout

    • In the anomaly revision form, toggle Request anomaly closeout to ON.

    • This flags the anomaly for review and closure by the appropriate team members.

  4. Save and Submit

    • Save the revision.

    • Once revision is submitted, the update will be sent to the assigned reviewer for closeout.

Notes

  • You can attach files, notes, and media to the final revision for complete traceability.

  • Only users with the required permissions can request or approve an anomaly closeout.
