How to View Valve Details and Status

Quickly access valve characteristics and view the current status of individual valves or all valves within a structure

You can now access valve data directly from the Asset Hierarchy or from the Valve Management dashboard.


How to Access Valve Details

  • Asset Hierarchy: Use the search bar at the top of your asset hierarchy to view the valve of interest.

  • Valve Management dashboard: Click any valve tile in Grid View or any valve row in List View. This opens the Valve Operations page with a full history and performance breakdown.

What You’ll See

Latest Valve Entry

  • Position – Current valve state

  • Indicator Status – Whether the indicator is functioning

  • Running Torque – Torque required during operation

  • Breakout Torque – Torque needed to initiate movement

Torque Over Time

Track torque trends across operations. Rising torque values may indicate mechanical resistance or the need for maintenance.

Operation Media

View before and after ROV images from valve operations to visually confirm changes or detect issues.

Operation History

A chronological log of all recorded valve operations, including:

  • Date and time

  • Position state

  • Torque readings

  • Indicator status

  • Anomaly notes
