Notes allow you to record observations, reminders, or contextual details for any asset. They help ensure key information is visible and preserved within the system for all users.
How to Create a Note
Navigate to the asset you want to add a note to.
Click the + Note button in the top-right corner of the asset view.
In the Create Note window:
Enter your message in the Note field.
(Optional) Toggle Pin Note to keep it visible at the top of the Notes list.
(Optional) Toggle Is it a warning? if the note highlights an operational concern or potential issue.
Click Create to save your note.
How Pinning Works
Pinned Notes stay at the top of the asset’s Notes tab for quick access.
Warnings are automatically pinned and displayed at the top of the asset’s Overview page, ensuring they are visible to all users reviewing the asset.

Recording an installation detail or configuration reminder.
Flagging a maintenance note for upcoming inspection.
Highlighting a warning about an observed risk.
