Can I rename and customize terminology?

Enaimco supports customization of terminology, tags, and identifiers, reviewed by our product team to protect data integrity.

Written by John Ennis

Enaimco supports customization of certain customer-variable items so the platform aligns with your organization's internal language, processes, and asset structure.

What you can customize

  • Terminology and status labels — for example, rename "Compromised" to "At Risk", or adjust severity labels to match your internal scale.

  • Tags — add operational, environmental, or site-specific tags relevant to your workflows.

  • Anomaly codes — map or relabel anomaly codes to align with your existing classification or maintenance systems.

  • Custom asset identifiers — apply your own naming conventions or reference IDs to assets so they match your records.

How customization works

To request a customization, reach out to the Enaimco team and we'll work with you to scope and apply the change.

Maintaining data integrity and consistency is one of our core principles, so all customizations are reviewed by our product development team before they are applied. This review ensures that custom terminology and identifiers remain consistent across your environment and don't disrupt reporting, integrations, or downstream analysis.
