Moving 3D line data from one environment to another used to require a manual database copy. You can now do it from the Model Admin Panel. This is a SuperUser feature.
Export
Use Export in the Line Data Sync panel to download the environment's complete 3D line data as a single file.
Import
In the target environment, open the Model Admin Panel and go to the Line Data Sync panel.
Upload the exported file and run the validation step. The preview lists how many lines will be created, how many updated, entries with no matching asset in this environment (these are skipped), and lines that exist here but are missing from the file.
Review the preview, then confirm. Everything is applied together — if any part fails, nothing is written.
Deleting lines that are missing from the file is off by default. When you turn it on, only the lines listed in the validation preview are removed.
Good to know
Only SuperUsers see the Line Data Sync panel.
Imports run one at a time, so two administrators cannot overwrite each other.
A file with formatting problems is rejected in full rather than partly imported.
This covers 3D line data only — 2D line data is not included.
